Staying downstairs tonight.

I've dragged the mattress down to the basement and put it in front of the corridor. Getting it around the turn in the stairs was a job, but at least I won't be sitting on that kitchen chair again.

I've got a thermos of coffee and the flashlight beside me. I'm going to stay awake and watch the opening tonight. If something moves in there, I want to see it happen.

The corridor is still there. I've checked twice today.
